Could your club welcome a Prospect Hospice ambassador in 2016?

We are inviting local groups to hear from one of our fundraising ambassadors during 2016, and to find out more about the charity’s work and its need to raise funds.

A select group of volunteers, all from professional backgrounds and primed with presentations about Prospect Hospice, are keen to be invited to join philanthropic and affinity groups looking to fill their speaker engagement calendar. The talks, which last about 45 minutes, are intended to surprise people who might be unaware of the scale and the range of services we now offer, and to learn more about how our work is funded.

Amy Francombe, our community fundraiser said: “It is vital for us to be able to communicate about our work, and the support that we need to be able to deliver it. Many local groups have warmly welcomed speakers from here in the past, and our ambassadors are ready to provide a full, up-to-date presentation on what we do now, which has changed considerably in recent years. We think they are very well placed to help us as we look to re-engage with local community groups in the year ahead.”

Prospect Hospice currently has six ambassadors who are willing to visit local groups for talks. To book a talk from a Prospect Hospice fundraising ambassador, please call Amy on 01793 816161 or email fundraising&events@prospect-hospice.net.
