Take a box for your loose change

Household Collection Boxes

It all adds up

The idea is simple...

Take one of our household collection boxes for your home and fill it with your loose change to raise money for Prospect Hospice. All those unwanted pennies really do add up!

By holding one of our boxes it shows your support for our work in the community and generates much needed funds towards our services. Last year our household and business collection boxes raised over £107,000 for us.

Because it makes such a big difference, we make it easy for you to get your donation to us. You can either drop off your donation at one of our shops, at the hospice in Wroughton, or we can arrange for it to be collected by one of our official Box Collectors. If you would like to order a collection box, please use the form below.

Our Box Collectors are volunteers in the community who collect from people within their neighbourhood twice a year. If you would like a collection box or if you are interested in becoming a Box Collector yourself, please register your interest by completing the form below.

#hellomyname is... Margaret

This year is my 15th anniversary of collecting household boxes for Prospect Hospice. I started in 2004 while I was still working – I would collect in my spare time and although it was a voluntary role I enjoyed the social side of it; chatting with my neighbours and becoming friends with fellow box collectors outside my local area. Now I’m retired, I count box collecting as one of my hobbies!

I was featured in the Prospect Hospice annual review for my volunteering role (see photo). I had 30 boxes on my rounds in Blunsdon when I started, which has increased to around 50 and also includes Lydiard. Rounds can vary; some days I’ll do six collections and on others I can do up to 60! Luckily, I can fit it around my lifestyle with no pressure or deadlines – Prospect Hospice are very flexible.

I love box collecting for Prospect Hospice – it’s for a good cause, it’s nice to do and it’s what I enjoy.
