Donate to Prospect Hospice

Your donation really will make a difference to the lives of local people

By making a donation to Prospect Hospice, you're helping to ensure local people receive outstanding care at the end of their lives.

Prospect Hospice is committed to ensuring that everyone with a life terminal illness has the support they need at the end of their life and we’re proud to care for local people across our community of Swindon and the surrounding areas, including Marlborough, Lechlade and Fairford. All our care is given to our patients completely free of charge whether in their own homes, a care home or at our hospice in Wroughton.

We’re able to offer all this for free because of you and your generous donations. Thanks to your fundraising, we can continue to make a difference to those who need our care and support, through our outstanding and experienced teams.

You can really make a difference and help us by making a one-off donation, or by signing a direct debit instruction to make a regular monthly contribution towards our care – please select to give a single donation, regular donation or join our lottery via the buttons below.

And your support really makes a huge difference to those we care for:

  • £5 could provide a patient at the hospice with a delicious, nutritious home cooked meal.
  • £25 could provide specialist clinical support to ensure a patient’s pain is under control and they’re comfortable for the night ahead.
  • £75 could pay for a three hour visit providing desperately needed care and support from a specialist nurse in a patient’s own home.
  • £150 could pay for a nurse’s shift, enabling them to care for patients at the hospice.
  • £887 could cover the cost of everything needed to look after a patient at the hospice for a whole day.

How we spend your valued donation

When you donate to Prospect Hospice, your money stays in the local area and is used to support those at the end of their life. It’s also used to support family members and loved ones of those who have died as they learn to live without that important person in their life.

Below are the stories of a few people who have been supported by the hospice and they share their story to say thank you for supporting us so our teams could be there for them.
