Zip Slide for Prospect Saturday 13th March

Like the thought of zipping from one side of Swindon Town's County Ground to the other from fifty feet? We're offering you the chance to take part in a sponsored event that means you can do exactly that, while raising funds for Prospect Hospice.

On Saturday 13th March 2010 we will stage Swindon's very first zip slide fundraising event, that will take you high over the stadium, zipping you from one end of the pitch to the other at great speed. It's an adrenaline rush you won't forget in a hurry!

A zip-slide is a diagonally-rigged rope fitted with a harness that takes you from one point to another at speeds of up to 25mph. No experience is necessary, and all equipment/instruction on the day is provided by Adventure Challenge Events (ACE), which specialises in the efficient and safe operation of charity zip slides.
