Pete and Keith raise fantastic funds for Prospect
Last weekend cycling Prospect Hospice supporters Pete Horwat and Keith Turnbull headed to the capital to take part in the London Nightrider event, which saw them complete a 100-kilometre route across the city’s landmarks through the night.
“We had a great experience,” say Pete. “The organisers had a great route and we saw all the major sites. In all we ended up doing 67 miles, and timed it in 5 hr 30 mins. The night ride stayed dry, which was good news for us, and we ended up crossing the line at 6am. From the sponsorship we have seen so far, we have now raised £1255.”
Keith really enjoyed his first experience of fundraising for Prospect Hospice: “It was a fantastic time and we were delighted to raise funds for such a good cause. Hopefully it will not be the last that you hear of us.”
We’re hugely appreciative of Pete and Keith for their amazing fundraising for Prospect Hospice – thank you from everyone here for your support for us.
