Swindon-based Thermo Fisher raise £385 for Prospect Hospice
Thanks for Thermo Fisher who recently match funded the £385 raised by students of the nearby Dorcan Academy. Year 11 Business and Enterprise students presented a cheque to the hospice’s Community Fundraiser Hollie Ricketts for £383.49 following the academy’s annual enterprise event.
The project, in collaboration with Thermo Fisher, was part of the group’s GCSE Business Studies course and included writing a business plan, identifying a USP and ultimately developing a product.
The Swindon-based company also donated gift boxes of prosecco to be used at our biennial Full Length & Fabulous Ball to be held at Steam this September.
Thank you to Thermo Fisher for their very kind and continuous support of Prospect Hospice.
