Swindon Symphony Orchestra supports Prospect Hospice
Swindon Symphony Orchestra chose to support Prospect Hospice through their autumn concert in November last year, raising £237.96.
The orchestra wanted to thank the hospice for the care provided to one of their founder members, Keith Young, before he died. Keith received care and support from the hospice during his illness and, with the November concert being dedicated to his memory, the orchestra felt it would be fitting to donate the proceeds of the retiring collection to Prospect Hospice.
A spokesperson for the orchestra said: "Being able to donate to such a good cause meant a lot to us, as Keith was such a great musician and friend."
We would like to thank the orchestra and everyone who attended the concert for choosing to support us.
