Cache NCFE Level 2 Award in End-of-Life Care and Dementia (2-day course)

This is a 2 day course – you must be able to attend both sessions.

This course is aimed at registered nurses and non-registered healthcare workers.

The aim of the course is to enable learners to understand how dementia impacts on end-of-life care.

Outcomes:

By the end of this two-day course you will be able to:

Know how an individual’s dementia can affect their end-of-life-care
Know how to support individuals with dementia affected by pain and distress at end-of-life
Know how to support family, significant others and friends of an individual at end-of life

Participants must complete a portfolio of work throughout the course as evidence of their learning.
