About the course

Working in an end of life care (or other care settings) presents many challenges with one of the most difficult being how you manage, and feel comfortable and confident, with conversations that matter, where “getting it right” feels paramount.

This session offers you the opportunity to work through what communication really means, dispelling myths and how we can use tools to encourage ourselves to participate in meaningful conversations. Here you can take advantage of the time and space to explore what you know already and build on your knowledge and skills to leave the room feeling ‘I can do this’.

This course will be cross-referenced with national policies and competencies so you will be able to transfer your learning when and whether you move to a new work environment.

This course is delivered face to face in the classroom and includes active participation.
