Draw a coronation celebration picture

We’re calling all budding artists to take part in our King’s coronation celebration picture competition.

Open to all children under the age of 11 for anyone wanting to showcase their artistic skills by drawing a beautiful coronation picture. From bunting and flags to crowns and street scenes, let your imagination run wild. You can also use whichever materials you like from charcoal to crayon, pencils or paint.

To enter, your design must be completed on an entry form available from our shops and hospice reception.

How to enter

Entries must be completed on an entry form which you can pick up from any of our charity shops or from our hospice reception in Wroughton. To find your nearest shop, click here.

Entries must be handed in to one of our shops or into our reception by 4pm on Sunday 14 May 2023 and the winner will be notified at the end of May.

The prize

  • The winner will receive a gift hamper.

The rules

  • The competition if open to all those will be aged 11 years old and under.
  • Where possible, designs should be hand drawn or painted.
  • The parent/ guardian agrees that the winner will take part in publicity with Prospect Hospice to promote their winning entry. This may include featuring on social media and in local media.
  • Entries should be handed into a Prospect Hospice shop, details of where to find your nearest shop can be found here, or handed to the hospice reception in Wroughton. Postal or digital entries will not be accepted.
  • Entries to the competition close at 4pm on Sunday 14 May 2023.
  • The winner will be contact w/c 22 May.
  • Only the winner will be contacted as it will not be possible to contact all those who are not successful.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
