Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our garden fete on Saturday 9 September. Together, you all helped to raise over £11,000 which is just an incredible amount. Thank you.
The sun was shining and it was a joyous afternoon of fun, laughter and community spirit to help raise vital funds so that we can continue to offer free care and support to local people and their families at the most difficult of times.
We couldn’t have done it without our tireless staff, volunteers, stall holders, entertainers and classic car owners who made the afternoon so memorable.
A special thank you to our corporate supporters:
Arval UK for kindly supporting the cost of crafting the roses and for getting the gardens tidied up as well as helping to plant the roses.
Zurich for helping our volunteer gardeners make sure the gardens were looking their best for the fete and running a tombola stand on the day.
Nationwide for giving up their time and energy working in the gardens and allowing us to use their parking in their head office so that we could provide a park and ride service.
Imagine Cruising for pulling out all the stops and running several tombolas throughout the fete.
Swindon’s Bus Company for providing drivers and buses for the park and ride service.
Fest4You for providing a large tent canopy which was greatly appreciated due to the scorching weather.
Covered Occasions Marquees for supplying our catering team with a marquee as well as tables and chairs.
