1.3 As a team you are committed to raising a minimum of £800 for Prospect Hospice (£300 Registration and £500 minimum sponsorship). This must be received by Prospect Hospice two weeks before the event. If you do not raise the minimum sponsorship, you will not be able to take part.

1.4 Participants must be over the age of 18 or over 1.4m tall.

  1. Event safety

2.1 At all times during the event you must adhere to all instructions given by the events team and marshals. Games must be carried out as demonstrated or explained only.

2.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that you, and any minors you are bringing with you, have the correct equipment, footwear and clothing for the event, taking the weather conditions into account.

2.3 Please check the event FAQ’s on whether you will be permitted to be accompanied by your pets when participating in the event.

2.4 All participants must register at the desks on arrival where your wristband allocation will be collated against your emergency contact details.

2.5 You are not permitted to use any item that could potentially inhibit the flow or safety of other participants or which we, in our reasonable opinion, deem may cause danger or risk of danger to you or other participants.

2.6 You accept that the activities that will be offered could be strenuous and demanding and that good health and a degree of fitness level is required. If you are in any doubt we recommend that you seek medical advice. Previous medical problems must be made known to The Knockout Challenge prior to the commencement of the competition, particularly broken bones and dislocations. The Knockout Challenge may exclude entrants they feel are not suitable to take part in.

  • Participants should only compete to a level which safely matches their own ability and not over stretch themselves where they may affect their own or others safety.

  • Wet games: Some games may include the use of water and “bubbles”/foam. Participants must take extra care on games that have wet surfaces so that they do not slip. Excess speed or bad grip from footwear may increase this likelihood. This includes games that have become wet because of inclement weather conditions.

  • Anyone under the effects of alcohol and/or drugs will be excluded from the games without question.

  • It is a fun game, and as such, bad behaviour or bad sportsmanship is not allowed. Anyone whose behaviour is considered disruptive or dangerous to the games or other participants will be asked to leave.

  • Suitable footwear such as trainers should be worn at all times, no bare feet except such games where specifically permitted.

  • To comply with HSE guidelines any injuries that occur during the games must be reported to a member of The Knockout Challenge staff. The Knockout Challenge must also be notified of any hospital treatment sort after the event as a result of the games as this may need to be reported under the HSE RIDDOR system.

  • Only those that have signed this entry form and are willing to comply will be allowed to participate.

  • Participants of the games give their consent to being photographed or videoed whilst taking part. This may be used for publicity purposes
