Prospect Hospice opened their gardens to the community to host their annual Garden Fete on Saturday, 31 August.
This free event had plenty for everyone who attended to enjoy, including a range of stalls, family-friendly games, complementary therapies, live music and refreshments. Entertainment on the day included a petting zoo with Dave and Ewe, education about the importance of bees with The Bee Man, a dog show supported by SNDogs, the George Scarrott and Son’s Fun Fair, Irish Dancing by Farrell Group of Irish Dance, and an appearance from our Prospect Hospice Pets As Therapy Dogs, Colin and Loki!
A huge thank you to all who participated in the Garden Fete – proceeds from the day will go towards funding the care the hospice provides.
Below are some images from this year’s fete. See if you can spot yourself in them!
The care we offer to patients and their families costs over £8.4m every year, seventy-two percent of this is raised through the support of our community. Read more about our amazing supporters.
