Allowing a patient to be able to change the lighting and atmosphere of their room with little effort.
When you’re stuck in bed and unable to get up to turn off the lights, you can feel a bit powerless. These lamps will sit beside a patient’s bed and can be operated by touch – which will immediately change the ambience of a room and give back a little of their independence. They’ll be great for a bit of reading or looking through photos and will simply make the room a tad more homely.
We need six of these. If we receive donations for all six, your support will go towards the vital running costs of the hospice.
