Prospect Hospice is a leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north-east Wiltshire. We provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end-of-life care and support.
Volunteers are central to our work, bringing valuable experience and enthusiasm to a wide variety of roles. A significant amount of Prospect Hospice’s income is raised through our charity shops. The success of our retail operation depends on the generous support of the local community (donating and buying goods), and the commitment of our managers and volunteers. Find out more here.
TrekFest – Brecon Beacons – September 2020

Take on the TrekFest challenge – choose your distance and make every step count!
This challenge is perfect for trekking newbies and experienced adventures alike, the TrekFest – The Brecon Beacons is taking place on Saturday 19 September 2020! The ultimate UK challenge takes you on a 25Km or 50Km trek (or jog or even run!) across the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park, including submitting South Wales’ highest mountain, Pen-Y-Fan.
Sign up solo or as a team with friends, family or colleagues – the team spirit will be flying high, so join the ultimate UK trek in 2020!
You’ll be supported every step of the way by the awesome TrekFest Crew – along the route you will have checkpoints stocked with water, fruit and snacks. Back at the TrekFest Village there’s a hot meal waiting for you when you cross the finish line, plus a glass of fizz, t-shirt and medal.
