Our hospice in Wroughton, Swindon, will be hosting two virtual open days for nurses to find out more about working in palliative care. As the need to expand our clinical teams to meet rising demand for our specialist care across Swindon and North East Wiltshire increases it’s a really exciting time to join our nursing teams.
You’ll enjoy high staffing ratios, which let you spend more time hands-on, with patients with education and development opportunities to become a specialist in palliative care, and a dynamic workplace that supports and cares about its staff.
You are warmly invited to join one of our virtual sessions to discuss the various opportunities we have available. Members from each team will be available to talk about their day-to-day role and help you find out more about the amazing work that their team does to assist those living with a life limiting illness.
Sonia Staples, Clinical Nurse Specialist said: ‘Open days are a fantastic way for nurses to find out about us and what we do. It’s actually how I joined two years ago – Prospect did a recruitment day. It’s such an honour working for the hospice, a truly rewarding role.’
