How to donate items

We are always delighted to accept donations of quality items to sell in our shops. This includes clothing, books, bric a brac, DVDs, jewellery and furniture.

We have introduced Gift Aid in all our shops. This government scheme means we can claim an additional 25p in every £1 raised from the sale of goods donated by UK taxpayers. Last year we claimed over £74,200 for the hospice! Therefore, we really appreciate you taking a few moments to complete the simple form to allow us to do this.

If you have anything you would like to donate, please drop into your nearest branch. Alternatively, you may wish to complete the form below, letting us know what goods you would like to donate. A member of our team will be in touch to get further details and arrange a time for us to come to you.

You can also call the Retail Transport Office on 01793 813362.  We offer a "view and collect" service where we come to you to consider larger furniture items and then take them for sale if appropriate. Please call the Retail Transport Office number for this. However, please allow us a few days' notice so that we can schedule for our next van in your area.

We can deliver purchases from our shops for a small charge – please ask the shop manager for more information when you buy.

Many items that we cannot sell are disposed of in an appropriate and environmentally friendly way whenever possible. All clothing, bags and leather items are recycled, along with books, metal and cardboard. We are, therefore, happy to accept these even in poor condition.

Unfortunately, there are some items we cannot recycle and disposal would incur a cost for us.
Therefore, we hope you understand and would not be disappointed, if we are unable to accept the following items:

Did you know...?

The money we receive from recycling unwanted goods make up 10% of our income overall, so recycling is very beneficial to us
