Who are Engage & Connect?
Engage & Connect is a professional fundraising agency, a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, and recognised by the Fundraising Regulator. It is focused on employing fundraisers who recruit long term supporters. Engage & Connect is working with Prospect Hospice and you will be employed by this agency. You will not be employed directly by Prospect Hospice but you will be exclusively representing Prospect Hospice and closely engaged with the hospice.
The role
Help raise awareness about Prospect Hospice and grow our lottery, making a difference to the lives of local people every day. The Prospect Hospice lottery provides a regular, reliable source of income, helping to pay for the vital services the hospice provides across Swindon and surrounding areas. The lottery fundraiser will engage and inspire members of the public to sign up for an ongoing monthly Prospect Hospice lottery membership, ultimately helping patients living with a terminal illness, and their families, receive the best possible support.
Working in places such as shops, garden centres, town centres, at hospice events, or visiting people at home, on either a full or part time basis, you will become a passionate representative of your local hospice and gain immense satisfaction from the benefits your hard work produces for your community.
Find out more about Prospect Hospice’s weekly lottery here.
Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided. You will enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life, be resilient and determined to succeed.
