Prospect Hospice has been part of the Swindon community for over 40 years, caring for local people at the end of their lives. As a charity, we rely on the generous donations of the public to help us raise the vital funds we need to ensure everyone is offered our outstanding care free of charge.

We couldn’t do what we do without considerable support from our local community. Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Join us for lunch, tea and cake, or just for a space to relax
Open from Monday to Saturday, 11.30am to 2pm, the Heart of the Hospice café offers a range of delicious home cooked hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks in a spacious, sensitively-lit area, designed and maintained to make you feel at home while you are here.
All proceeds from the sale of food and drink goes directly back to the charity to help fund the care of local people living with a terminal illness.
The Heart of the Hospice café was built thanks to a grant from the Department of Health.
Each weekday, we’ll have three main meals available, with at least one vegetarian option, a cold snack, and dessert. There will also be a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, toasties, and a varied salad bar.
