Find out about the wide range of end-of-life care services that we offer to patients and their families. These are designed to provide compassionate, personalised support during every stage of a life-limiting illness, in every kind of care setting, to anyone who needs it.
We couldn’t manage without considerable support from our local community. Learn about all the different ways in which you can help Prospect Hospice, for example by taking part in fundraising events, playing our lottery, or remembering us in your will. All contributions are greatly appreciated.

A significant amount of Prospect Hospice’s income is raised through our charity shops. The success of our retail operation depends on the generous support of the local community (donating and buying goods), and the commitment of our managers and volunteers. Find out more here.
What we do
We care around the clock, every day of the year, at the hospice in Wroughton, in people’s homes and care homes around Swindon and north Wiltshire, and through our team at the Great Western Hospital. We are dedicated to delivering the very best in end-of-life care, and support services for the families and the people closest to our patients, but we can only do that with your help.
Last year, more than 7,300 people in our community benefited from the support of Prospect Hospice thanks to you. With only just over a quarter of our annual funding from the NHS and other statutory sources, we need to raise more than £6million each year. With your support, through fundraising and our shops, together we make a real difference to the experience of people affected by life-limiting illnesses each year. With your continuing support, we always can.
