As part of the team, you can expect the following benefits
Many people who work for Prospect Hospice find their working day is spent away from the hospice in Wroughton. It might surprise you how much of our work – through our care teams in the community, our team based at Great Western Hospital and for almost everyone who works for our retail team – is carried in sites other than the hospice.
Our hospice, situated in Wroughton, Wiltshire, opened in 1995. As the headquarters of Prospect Hospice, it is the hub of our charitable activity, and brings together various departments including inpatient care, fundraising and voluntary services.
A significant amount of Prospect Hospice’s income is raised through our charity shops. The success of our retail operation depends on the generous support of the local community (donating and buying goods), and the commitment of our managers and volunteers.
Our distribution centre in the Wroughton Business Park, where volunteers sort items that have been kindly donated to us for sale in our 18 shops, is just one of the areas that has benefited from the contribution of volunteers.
Prospect Hospice is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all sections of society.
