Covid-19 is affecting us all but Prospect Hospice remains operational in order to support the increasing number of our community needing end of life support. Here you'll find lots of information about the virus and information and advice that we think will help you at this time.
Prospect Hospice has been providing end of life care to the people of Swindon and north east Wiltshire for over 40 years. Find out more about where we've come from and who we are here.
Find out about the range of end-of-life care services that we offer to patients and their families. These are designed to provide compassionate, personalised support during every stage of a life-limiting illness in every kind of care setting, to anyone who needs it, free of charge.
We couldn’t do what we do without considerable support from our local community. Find out all the different ways in which you can support Prospect Hospice, including fundraising, volunteering and purchasing from our shops. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
During the recent pandemic the hospice has had to cancel or postpone our fundraising events, close all our shops, and our supporters have had to cancel their planned fundraising activity. Because of this, we estimate that the hospice have lost a significant amount of funding over the last year, funding that is vital to ensure we can be there for local people who need us at the end of their lives.
Over the last 12 months, our nurses, doctors, therapists, family support team and other specialist clinical staff have continued to support patients and their families, but we need your support to continue to do this.
Our care and support is provided free of charge to those who need it across Swindon and north east Wiltshire and we continue to deliver this vital care even during these testing times.
Your donations to Prospect Hospice mean that we can make a difference to thousands of people who need our services, even during a global pandemic, through our expert and experienced teams of nurses, doctors, therapists and carers who continue to carry out their vital key worker roles. Without your support, we simply can’t continue to do this.
You can help us by making a one-off donation, or by signing a direct debit instruction to make a regular monthly contribution towards our care – please select either the single donation or regular donation buttons below.
Thanks a million!
Whilst we really welcome donations, especially at this time, due to Covid-19 and in order to protect you, our patients and our staff, we are not accepting monetary donations in the main hospice building. However supporters can donate by clicking on the donate buttons below.
