We couldn’t do what we do without considerable support from our local community. Find out all the different ways in which you can support Prospect Hospice, including fundraising, volunteering and purchasing from our shops. All contributions are greatly appreciated and enables us to deliver care that is free of charge to our patients and their families.

Many of the rooms have en-suite facilities and overlook our beautiful, tranquil gardens.
When you come to Prospect Hospice as a patient, you can expect our care and support for you to be shaped by your needs and wishes, leaving you feeling confident and in control. Your family and friends are welcome at any time, and you will be able to spend your days in whatever way you choose. It’s your care, so there’s no routine, and you can decide what you want to do, and when you want to do it.
While you will be able to find the privacy you might wish for in your bedroom, there are also many other spaces available to you, including the Heart of the Hospice cafe, the relaxed garden room, and our dedicated quiet space for reflective or spiritual contemplation. And our extensive gardens, home to a surprising variety of wildlife, include a summer house and seating for your and your visitors’ enjoyment.
People come to Prospect Hospice for inpatient care for many reasons, including the management of difficult symptoms, and for respite care, so that the people closest to them can have a much-needed break. People also come as their illness advances, choosing to be with us in their final days.
