Your family and friends are welcome at any time, and you will be able to spend your days in whatever way you choose. It’s your care, so there’s no routine, and you can decide what you want to do, and when you want to do it.
While you will be able to find the privacy you might wish for in your bedroom, there are also many other spaces available to you, including the Heart of the Hospice cafe, the relaxed garden room, and our dedicated quiet space for reflective or spiritual contemplation. And our extensive gardens, home to a surprising variety of wildlife, include a summer house and seating for your and your visitors’ enjoyment.
People come to Prospect Hospice for inpatient care for many reasons, including the management of difficult symptoms, and for respite care, so that the people closest to them can have a much-needed break. People also come as their illness advances, choosing to be with us in their final days.

A very positive stay - a different picture to what I thought. It’s been so wonderful. Staff were very caring.
Everything regarding my care and any concerns I have had have been fully addressed.the complete package is beyond reproach and I can think of nothing that I could improve on.
Care from the staff was outstanding, comfortable rooms, free parking for visitors, lovely building and grounds.
They were excellent in every way possible., we could not have asked anything more. They did everything to a very high standard.
Never been in a hospice? It’s not what you think…
