Gifts in wills

The care and services delivered by our nurses relies on the generosity of supporters like you.

After providing for your family and loved ones, please consider leaving a gift in your will to Prospect Hospice. Prospect delivers its care freely, but we seek to provide our care for patients in the place where they prefer to be, led by teams of nurses, in patients’ homes, in care homes and at the hospice in Wroughton.

The hospice depends on the generosity of local people to continue providing care for people when they need it most, and income from legacies is vital to us.

Every day, our specialist Community Nursing Team supports the needs of 400 patients and their families at home. In a typical day there are 14 patients receiving care and support in our hospice, 17 patients attending the day hospice, seven new people referred to our family support and Bereavement Services and four new patients referred to our Therapy Services.

Prospect provides all this care for people with a life-limiting illness across Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire, and the villages of Lechlade and Fairford in south Gloucestershire. This is only possible now and into the future because of the special gifts supporters like you may consider leaving us in your will.
