Prospect Hospice Starlight Walk 2010

Prospect Hospice’s biggest fundraising event of the year is back, and we want you to be part of it.

Six hundred women – and a handful of dolled-up fellas – took to Swindon’s streets last year raising more than £65,000 for Prospect Hospice in the biggest mass participation event for a local charity. If you weren’t there, you won’t want to miss out on this year’s Starlight Walk. If 2009 is anything to go by, it’s going to be a fabulous night!

The event mixes a girls’ night out, a physical challenge and, for some, a time for reflection. We start as the sun goes down from Swindon’s New College campus, and head out over a tried and tested route across cycle paths and walkways. We’ve also added an additional leg that’s new for 2010, for those who’re after a bigger challenge, so you can choose from a 10k or 15k option this year.

You can register for the Starlight Walk 2010 for just £12 before the 30th April 2010 as part of our Early Bird registration, or £15 after then. The closing date for registration is 28th May 2010 . We hope that you will be able to raise £100 in sponsorship. Participants must be aged 14 or older, and walkers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
