Catalent show support with Charity of The Year fundraiser

March 2019

Fundraising

Catalent Pharma Solutions presented Prospect Hospice with a cheque for over £2,500 as part of the Charity of the Year scheme, designed to help corporates get involved with local charities.

Catalent had three Charities of the Year last year and through a variety of different events, such as cakes sales, raffles, challenges and lots of other employee fundraisers run by the Catalent Sports Social and Charities Committee, Prospect Hospice benefited from an amazing £2,551. This amount is in addition to monies raised through Catalent employees taking part in Prospect Hospice’s Run the Rainbow and 10k events.

Operations Director for Catalent, Layton Henderson, said: “Prospect Hospice is the charity that gets voted for time and again as it is close to many at Catalent. The work that Prospect Hospice do is important to us and it’s with great delight that we continue to support them and their vital work in the community of Swindon.”

Lisa Curtis, Corporate and Major Donor Fundraiser, added: “Catalent have supported us since 2010 and have raised an enormous £17,500, and we are absolutely delighted to have been chosen by staff to be Charity of the Year in 2019. The staff are hugely motivated and proactive in their fundraising efforts and I am personally excited to be working with Catalent during 2019.”
