Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Whether shopping with us in person or online, or donating your pre-loved goods, we thank you for supporting us through our shops where you help to raise around £2million a year for Prospect Hospice.
We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and we're always looking for outstanding people to join our team at the hospice across all areas of the charity.

Our annual remembrance service, Light up a Life, brings together hundreds of people from across our community who have been touched by loss. It is a time for us to collectively reflect on the year and think about our loved ones who are no longer with us. Join us as we gather to celebrate their lives and support each other.
We are delighted to be able to again hold the Light up a Life service at the beautiful and atmospheric Christ Church in Old Town, Swindon. We will be holding two services on Sunday 3 December at 2.30pm and 4pm. You can choose which time you would prefer to attend.
Below you will find a form for you to complete, where you can tell us which service you wish to attend and how many people will be joining you. You can also tell us the names of those you would like to remember, along with a space for a personal message. All messages and names will be collected together and printed in a special book of remembrance – which will be available to view at the service.
At the service, we’ll also have memory stars available for you to write your own words of love and remembrance of your special loved one. All of the memory stars we receive will be displayed at the hospice in Wroughton.
Should you wish to join us, we kindly ask that you complete the below form no later than Friday 17 November, to ensure that you are part of this beautiful celebration.
“I will be taking part in this year’s Light up a Life service to remember my dad, Eammon. I do hope you can join me at the service to remember those you love.”
We understand that Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time for those who are grieving and we want you to know that you are not on your own. We encourage you to talk to your friends and family about how you are feeling, however, should you feel you need support from others at this time, there are many local organisations available to you to offer the support you need. Please find details of these below.
