This May

Take on Challenge 45

Fun for Students, Funds for Care.

Inspire your school to take on 45-themed activities and raise money for Prospect Hospice.

Get your students involved in a community challenge to celebrate 45 years of Prospect Hospice this May! From 45-star jump competitions to reading 45 books, there are endless ways for schools to join the fun.

It’s a fantastic way to teach students the value of community support while encouraging teamwork and creativity. Together, we can ensure Prospect Hospice continues to provide vital care for years to come.

Why take on Challenge 45 in May?

Because every moment counts. Just ask Melvin Camden—a man facing terminal lung cancer who abseiled down a cliff to raise funds for Prospect Hospice. With only one lung, Melvin took on the challenge to give back to the charity that will support him and his family when they need it most. His courage has already raised £650, inspiring his children to continue fundraising with a marathon and a virtual walk. Melvin’s story proves that life is for living, and every challenge taken helps Prospect Hospice be there for those who need it. Be more Melvin—take on Challenge 45 today!

Need some inspiration?

Huge thanks to St Mary’s School, Swindon. They’ve raised over £1k for the hospice for our birthday celebration: Challenge 45. Rachel and Zoe were guests on BBC Radio Wiltshire to share why they got involved.
