Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Our gardens at the hospice are a tranquil place, enjoyed by many of the visitors to Prospect Hospice throughout the year. Beautifully landscaped and full of seasonally colourful plants, our gardens can be viewed from all of the rooms on our Inpatient Unit, and are much admired by our patients and their visitors. They are visited by a variety of local wildlife too, with deer and pheasants often seen enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of our wonderful green space.
In our gardens, you will also find our remembrance areas, including the Bluebell Walk and Memory Tree, and the lodges that provide a temporary home for some patients’ visitors are also to be found here. Once a year, our gardens open to welcome hundreds of supporters to our garden fete.
