We couldn’t do what we do without considerable support from our local community. Find out all the different ways in which you can support Prospect Hospice, including fundraising, volunteering and purchasing from our shops. All contributions are greatly appreciated and enables us to deliver care that is free of charge to our patients and their families.
Marvel at the land of the northern lights
Challenge yourself on this 40km trek in magical Iceland, one of the best places in the world to catch the northern lights from 16 to 20 March 2024.
See the awe-inspiring southern coast, navigate through fields of geothermal activity with their bubbling mud pools, dip in the naturally hot springs in the magical valley of Solfataras and Reykjadlur and reward yourself with the stunning views from the highest point in the Hengill Heritage site.
You’ll hike along the fault line that divides America and Europe in the National Park of Thingvellir – the only place in the world you can stand between two continental plates with its breathtaking geological landscape. Our team will be by your side while you help raise vital funds to support the outstanding care of local people at the end of their lives.
Perhaps you would like to take on this trek in memory of a loved one? Or maybe you want to challenge yourself, do something different or tick this iconic trip off your bucket list. Whatever the reason, our dedicated team at Prospect Hospice will support you every step of the way.
How much do I need to raise?
Each participant is asked to pay a registration fee of £390 when they sign up to the challenge via the link below. In addition to this, as it is a fundraising challenge for the hospice, each participant is asked to raise a minimum of £2,990 in sponsorship. You’re not on your own though. Our friendly dedicated fundraising team is here to help you every step of the way with support and advice on how to maximise your fundraising.
