Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Whether shopping with us in person or online, or donating your pre-loved goods, we thank you for supporting us through our shops where you help to raise around £2million a year for Prospect Hospice.
We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and we're always looking for outstanding people to join our team at the hospice across all areas of the charity.
A recently re-opened charity café is giving local people the opportunity to fill up on as much pizza as they like this coming weekend.
Prospect Hospice’s Heart of the Hospice café is opening between 12noon and 3pm on Saturday 5 November and offering local people unlimited pizza with a range of toppings to choose from for just £6.25 per person.
Carl Golding, catering manager at the charity, said: “We know the cost of living is challenging for many local people at the moment. As a charity that is well supported by our community, we also want to offer them something in return to thank them for their continued support and try to help them out a little too.
“We seem to find ourselves with a large amount of pizza dough so what better way to use it up than creating a whole range of pizzas for our community to enjoy together.”
Pizza will be served by the hospice’s friendly staff and volunteers and you can enjoy as much pizza as you can eat during the three hour lunch service.
All profits from the sale of food go directly back to the hospice to help fund care for those living with a life limiting illness in Swindon and north east Wiltshire.
Reservation is not required and free parking is available on site.
