Rick Stein’s restaurant in Marlborough kindly hosted a coffee morning today offering complimentary coffee and cake in return for a £5 donation to Prospect Hospice.
Some of our nurses and our Marlborough-based community fundraiser Jacqueline Beck were delighted to attend and enjoy some of the delicious chocolate brownies and carrot cake on offer.
Our thanks to the staff and Callum the manager for their warm reception and generous support for their local hospice. The restaurant asked the people of Marlborough which local cause they wanted to support and we were thrilled that they chose us!
Fundraiser Jacqueline said: “it was a wonderful morning, very well attended with everyone enjoying the wonderful hospitality on offer at Rick Stein’s. We hope to have the opportunity to work with the team at Rick Stein’s in Marlborough again soon”.
