Shops

Last year our 17 Prospect Hospice shops raised £1.96m that helped fund our care

Find a bargain and raise money for your local hospice

Prospect Hospice has 17 charity shops in and around the Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire area. Between them the shops raise a significant proportion of our income – around a quarter of the total amount needed to run the hospice.

This vital source of funding is dependent on the continued support of our community, including the volunteers who help out in the shops and distribution centre, and the people who donate unwanted items for us to sell (please read more about how to donate items).

All of our shops are open from Monday to Saturday (most from 9am to 5pm), and some are also open on Sundays (10am to 4pm). Please click on the links for each shop for further details. If you can’t make it to your local Prospect Hospice shop, here is a list of eBay retailers who donate 10% of their sales to us.

Our retail operation is run by an enthusiastic team of experienced managers and volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers to carry out various roles:

  • Shop assistants
  • Distribution centre processors (at our centre in Wroughton)
  • Van drivers
  • PAT testers (to help check donated electrical items)

If you’d like to join one of our friendly shop teams, please contact them directly (see the links for each shop). If you’re interested in any of the other roles, please contact Voluntary Services on 01793 813355, or email volunteering@prospect-hospice.net.
